MasterPlan Consult is registered as a town planning consulting firm. The firm is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Town Planners Registration Council of Nigeria (TOPREC) and it is a member of the Association of Town Planning Consultants of Nigeria (ATOPCON). Our firm is made up of a team of brilliant and seasoned urban planners who have acquired rich and diverse experience over the years.

The team of planners making up the core of the firm came together out of the realisation of the need to revolutionise the practice of planning in Nigeria. The firm relies heavily on the advantages of technological advancement through Information Technology (IT) in the planning, execution and delivery of its services.

Having worked closely on various projects for up to a period of over ten years, this crop of new breed planners decided to raise a professional consulting firm that will give a fresh breath of life to the practice of planning.

Whereas MasterPlan Consult comprises of a team of dynamic, brilliant, young but seasoned planners who are committed to promoting sustainable growth and development of physical planning practice in Nigeria; and in furtherance of this objective therefore, the firm aims to be a professional physical planning outfit that is dynamic, target oriented and capable of efficiently and effectively raising physical planning profession through practice, training and research; and in pursuance of the foregoing, MasterPlan Consult is set to dictate the pace of the profession: Above is our mission, and we are determined and focused to this achievement.

Information Technology Capability

The firm is completely computerised with good internet facilities, which has led to a situation whereby all planning, design and report preparation activities of the firm are performed with the state-of-the-art technology and promptly.

Past Experience

Although the firm is just slightly over ten years old, it draws on over 25 years’ work experience of its Principal Partner, T. I. Salau (B. Sc., M. Sc., PhD. Urban and Regional Planning, FNITP, RTP). The Principal Partner and his associates have been involved in several major urban planning projects.
